Preface
Okay... this is, quite obviously, my about us page. I would just like to say, before I get all indulged in detials, that this is not an About 'Us' at all. Rather, it is an About 'Me.' I host and maintain this site myself. So, I will give to credit where credit is due, but keep in mind that the majority of the actual coding on this whole sub-domain I did myself. Now that I've said that, let's get started, shall we?

So It Begins
It all started one day, a couple years back, in mid-summer of 2004. I was up late one night during late June, coding this very website, and several others, on my awesometastic Windows '95 laptop, as my computer was running amany scans/updates. This site, as you see it, is nothing as it was originally intentioned, and well spoken. If you would see the website I started with, you would not be able to tell that it was this site. When I first started my site, my intentions were to make a site for games, music, and blogs. But, as you can quite clearly see, that is nowhere near what happened. As I continued coding, and learning the code (yea'... my knowledge of code is basically growing on an exponential basis), I realized that if I wanted a site, a good site that people would actually come to, it'd have to be good. REALLY good. So I changed my views. And I decided,"Well... why not make a site for everything? Music, blogs, forums, images, IRC, and anything else." So I did, and so.... it had begun. Dun dun dun...

The PlanetServe 'Free Zone' Project Started
O.K., now, moving onto what enable me to make this site, the PlanetServe 'Free Zone' Project. It was used for the fundamentals which we still strive to keep in our websites today. Everything we offer to you is, literally: free. No limits, either. After we started offering e-mails, domain names, FTP, MySQL, PHP, and many other services, we began to attract some users, but not a lot. Which is where this site came along. Yes, I said earlier, it was for blogs, music, etc. It was, but the ulterior motive was to atrract users to PlanetServe through subliminal adveritising. Didn't you notice that all the pages say this at the bottom:

There's two reasons for that. Firstly, as I said, it is to indriectly get traffic to PlanetServe. Secondly, it was to show my support to, as far as I know, the only true "free" site out there.

Starting Things Small
Obviously, if I'm running on a home server with little to no knowledge of [X]HTML, or any other code, for that matter, my site wasn't going to look very impressive - it still doesn't today! - and wouldn't get very far - I mean, look at how many people actually come through here each day. So, I kept on at it. We started with the computer that I am typing to you now. Actually, we started even earlier than that. The first PlanetServer site was hosted in June of 2004 on a Windows 98. Next, we upgraded for the first time - it was a big step, going from 98 with 64 MB of RAM to XP with 480 - XP stole what was supposed to be the other part of 512. We upgraded again later, but I'll get to that later. Without going into too terribly much detail and making you fall asleep - if I haven't done so already - the computer that I'm typing to you on now is still outdated, but for a small little site like mine, I think it could handle a couple coundred hits a day.

The 'Z' Era
Roughly two years ago up until a couple months ago, there were many "Z" sites that we owned and operated, a whole line of them.
